Conquistador Classic 2023
To our Ohana, Friends, and Supporters:
An emerging body of research suggests learning to create music relates to improved academic performance. At the Maui High Band, we teach students that effort, hard work, and perseverance lead to success and shared achievement. Through learning and appreciating the arts, we build good citizens and prepare our students to succeed at the next level.
We are returning to the Western Band Association's 2023 Conquistador Classic. The competition features marching bands from California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii. To get there, we ask your help raising funds to help defray transportation costs for students, and equipment.
The data shows that 41% of Maui High's students are financially disadvantaged; your financial support is essential. Please help our students by clicking the "donate now" button and sharing our story with your friends on Facebook and other social media.
You may also mail a check payable to the Maui High Band Booster Club at 660 S. Lono Avenue, Kahului, Hawaii 96732. The Maui High Band Booster Club, a 501c3 non-profit organization, Federal ID # 99-0304192.
