As a mental health counselor for Broward and Miami Dade County's detention centers and as a staff member of Miami YFC's Juvenile Justice team, I have an inside scoop to the brokenness and overwhelming needs of the at-risk youth within our own backyard. Everyday these youth continue marching down a path of self-destruction due to the dysfunctional family systems and impoverished communities which make up their homes. Your donation serves as life giving support as every cent directly impacts an at-risk youth through diverse and rich programs, helping fulfill the social, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs of forgotten teenagers from the darkest corners of Miami and Broward.

 As a cliche as it sounds, it "takes a village to raise a child," and Miami YFC is committed to embodying that village for these broken youth while pointing to the cross of Jesus Christ.
