This year, I walk for my mom. In March she was diagnosed with gastric cancer. My mom is so strong and such a fighter and after enduring chemo and immunotherapy, she underwent surgery on Aug 28th. Longest five hours of my life. She came through with flying colors AND upon visual inspection, the surgeons could not see any visible evidence of the tumor. As of this moment, she is cancer free! My mom successfully Slayed the Beast.
