Hi! I'm Lila an SDSU student who believes one voice can spark something bigger, and I want to see what happens when a whole community decides to care. For my Senior capstone project I decidied to partner with the incredible people of Crisis House to inspire change and raise awareness.

For my senior capstone, I'm raising $25,000 for Crisis House, a nonprofit that has been a lifeline in East San Diego County for over 50 years.

Crisis House meets people at the hardest moment of their lives and helps them rebuild. They provide safe housing for women and children escaping domestic violence, and they're the largest housing program for survivors in East County. Through Camp HOPE, kids who've witnessed violence at home get camping trips and year-round mentorship to help them heal and dream again. Their mobile outreach team also connects people experiencing homelessness with housing and life-saving resources. Every year, Crisis House helps thousands of people find safety, stability, and a fresh start.

Why this matters: Domestic violence is the number one reason women become homeless. Kids who grow up around it carry it with them, but reaching them early changes everything.

Let's love them at 7, 8, and 9 so they can flourish at 17, 18, and 19.

Why your gift goes further: Most of Crisis House's funding comes from the government, which has strict rules about who can be helped. Private donations can be used immediately, for anyone, including families without documentation or transportation. Your gift means a mom and her kids can get safe tonight, not after the paperwork clears.
