Crisis House - Camp Hope - Noah Hedoux - SDSU

Every child deserves one safe summer.

I’m Noah, a senior at San Diego State University, and this semester I’m serving as a brand ambassador for Crisis House, a San Diego nonprofit running East County’s official response system for homelessness and domestic violence.

I’m participating in the Help a Friend, a Family, a Neighbor fundraising campaign for Crisis House, and my contribution focuses on Camp HOPE, their youth development program for children whose lives have been disrupted by domestic violence or housing instability. Last year, the program saw a 62% increase in campers and documented measurable gains in hope, resilience, and social skills. For many of these kids, it is the first safe, joyful experience they have had in a long time.

Donations through this page go to Crisis House, the organization behind Camp HOPE and the broader safety net it operates in East County. I’m sharing Camp HOPE’s story because it’s the part of their work that struck me most, and because I believe the kids it serves deserve more people knowing it exists.

No amount is too small. If you are not in a position to give right now, sharing this page makes a real difference.
