Homelessness is overwhelming. Helping someone take one next step doesn’t have to be.

I’m Sherlyn, an SDSU marketing student supporting Crisis House, a San Diego nonprofit helping people facing homelessness and domestic violence move toward safety and stability.

For this project, I’m using community surveys, conversations, local outreach, and fundraising to learn what moves people from simply caring to actually helping.

Sometimes one practical barrier keeps someone stuck:

• $10 can contribute toward an urgent need
• $20 can help provide transportation
• $25 can help provide hygiene essentials
• $35 can help provide groceries or meals

I’m not asking you to solve homelessness. I’m asking you to help make one person’s next step possible.
