At Second Harvest Food Bank, helping families set their tables with wholesome meals is our daily work. We see the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 in families' lives. Rising prices at the grocery store and at the pump are being felt by us all, and hitting many area families especially hard, leaving them struggling to feed their families.

Food insecurity remains high in our communities...and Second Harvest remains deeply grateful for people like you who know that we are all better off when we do our best to make sure that everyone in our community has the food they need to prepare and share meals with the important people in their lives. Food brings us together...and together, we'll make sure every family has the food they need through the holiday and beyond.

Your gifts will be put to use immediately to provide food and hope for families, seniors, and children this holiday season.

Virtual Food Drive Policy

Every day, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC helps local families in need of food assistance working with 460+ on-the-ground partner programs serving 18 Northwest North Carolina counties. Each time you participate in a Virtual Food Drive, you entrust Second Harvest to direct your gifts to where they are needed most. This includes, but it not limited to, the purchase of food items needed by our partner network members, such as, but not limited to, the representative items on this website.
