Information
The Walk on the Wild Side is a fun and exciting day for kids of all ages that features exclusive, first-access to the Detroit Zoo! This family-friendly event allows individuals and groups to create their own teams and enjoy early access to the zoo’s exhibits and animal habitats before opening to the general public. This event includes tickets (with parking included), a light breakfast, games, prizes, goodie bags and more. The Walk on the Wild Side is a great day to enjoy 125 acres of natural habitat for more than 2,000 animals while helping to raise money for CRWC programs.
Check-in is from 7am-10am, with the Walk beginning at 8am. Tickets are good for the duration of your visit to the Zoo, with no re-entry.
