It's that time of year again, the Central Vermont Humane Society's Walk for Animals on Saturday June 11. This year's event will return to the streets of Montpelier after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Why do I fundraise for this event each year? It's a way to acknowledge CVHS's commitment to the animals and the community, to say "thank you" and pay it forward.
CVHS is a steady presence in the community, providing peace of mind for those who find themselves unable to continue caring for a beloved animal companion. Each year, they provide care for approximately 1000 animals and go the extra mile to do whatever it takes to prepare each one for adoption into a new family. Care and compassion are evident in everything they do and thoughtful match-making finds the right fit for each animal and adoptive family.
I have a special "thank you" to offer CVHS this year, as we just celebrated Charlie and Mariah's tenth birthdays ! They came to me for foster care in July 2012 and I'm so very grateful they decided to stay. They bring me joy every day.
Please join me in supporting CVHS as they save lives and spread the joy of animal companionship; adoption fees don't begin to cover their costs. I will match the first $1500 in donations so that we'll have a gift of at least $3000.
With gratitude,
Pam, Mariah and Charlie
PS. Confident that we will make goal, our match has been delivered to CVHS. It is included in the total shown. Please help us get to $3000 and possibly beyond !
