Amelie enjoys walking on a leash which is unusual for a cat and Lisa enjoys helping animals. The two come together to raise a modest amount of funds for a good cause.

Almost 8 years ago we adopted from Central Vermont Humane Society our cat, Ivy. She has been an important part of our family every since. Especially after we adopted our youngest cat, Amelie. Ivy and Amelie groom each other, sleep together and are even fairly nice to each other during meal times. However, one thing Ivy won't do is wear a leash and she has no interest in the outdoors. Amelie is the opposite. So she has agreed to Walk for the Animals in support of her dear friend and housemate.
During this difficult time shelters need our support now more than ever. Won't you help me and support in whatever amount you can this good cause?
