I am very excited to be participating in the Mushroom Cap Half Marathon and Relay event on November 2, 2019 to raise funds for childhood cancer research at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for children. 

Sadly, cancer touches so many children’s lives.  These little heroes need to endure harsh treatments and numerous days in the hospital.  They have to miss the little joys of childhood from playing on the swings, watching movies on the couch with their siblings, and even spending the holidays at home.

My hope is that we will find cures and better treatments so they live long and healthy lives.  I believe every child deserves the chance of a healthy future.
