Hi, I’m Theresa Delgado, and I’m honored to serve as the Chairperson of the Board for Blossom’s Animal Sanctuary. Throughout my career in corporate communications and nonprofit leadership, I’ve worked to build meaningful connections between organizations and the communities they serve. But my passion for animal welfare goes back much further—growing up, I spent countless hours with my family rescuing injured wildlife. Those early experiences fueled my deep love and respect for animals, especially orangutans, and eventually led me to this incredible organization.

Blossom’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong care for orangutans means so much to me. These intelligent, curious creatures deserve every chance to thrive, and I’m committed to making that possible. That’s why I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to take part in "Dancing with the Board." I’ll be learning a dance routine with a professional partner, and while dancing isn’t something I’d call my strong suit, I couldn’t resist joining this creative and fun way of raising critical funds.

Every dollar from this fundraiser directly impacts the orangutans we care for, and I’m thrilled to help spotlight this essential work. This is about more than just a fun evening—it’s about giving these incredible animals a second chance at life. I might not be a natural on the dance floor, but I’m all in for this cause that’s so close to my heart. I hope you’ll support me and, most importantly, the orangutans who rely on us!
