Damien Alvarado is a passionate news journalist at KDRV. Born and raised in La Puente, California, he moved to Medford in May 2023 and quickly developed a strong connection to the community. Damien is an alumnus from Washington State University, where he developed his skills in journalism and discovered his love for storytelling. Outside of work, he’s an avid sports fan and video game player. While not the best dancer, Damien is always ready to have fun and give his best attempt at moving his hips like Shakira. Growing up he was uncoordinated until everything clicked in the 7th grade. He’s excited to be a part of this year’s DWTRVS hip hop squad and ready to show out for the community.
