Why I Chose to Be Team Co-Captain for Boots for Israel

For my 50th birthday, I wanted to do something meaningful—something bigger than myself. That’s why I’ve decided to run  the Dead Sea 10K for Boots For Israel/Just One Chesed. 

I chose to run because this is more than a race—it’s a mission. Every step I take helps put boots on the feet of our soldiers—our heroes—who give everything to protect Am Yisrael.

This year, I’m running side by side with my nieces and nephews, who proudly wear the uniform of the IDF. Their courage and commitment inspire me every single day, and I couldn’t be prouder to be related to such incredible heroes.

I will run.
I will lead.
I will not stop—because their strength inspires mine.

 One runner.
 One pair of boots.
 One nation, forever proud.
