Thank you for your interest in our annual Raven Run 5K & Fun Run/Walk. We have comprised a list of our frequently asked questions. We hope this information is helpful to you as you register for our event. While the students at Saint Benedict are taking part in their own Raven Run conducted as part of their physical education class, the following is directed at any person signing up to participate in the Virtual 5K & Fun Run/Walk.
What is a Virtual 5K & Fun Run/Walk?
The “Virtual 5K & Fun Run/Walk” is an alternative to an in-person event. It allows each participant to participate in the run or walk on their own schedule and at their own pace. This event allows participants to run, walk or sleep through the event.
How do I register?
Register online at (get link). Once registered, you will receive an email confirming your registration. You can participate as an adult or as a youth..
What if I decide not to run or walk, can I still participate?
The easiest avenue for you is to simply make a donation to the event, but if you register as a participant, you receive a tee shirt and you make a donation.
What day and time is the event?
The Virtual Raven Run is open from Monday, April 19th through Saturday, April 24th at 12 noon. We are asking everyone to complete the event during that time frame.
How do I get my T-Shirt?
Individuals who register before April 7th are guaranteed to have shirts available for pick-up on Friday, April 23rd at Saint Benedict Catholic School Main Office. Call SBCS (251-986-8143) to arrange a time for pick-up..
Where do I run / walk?
Each participant is encouraged to pick their own course for the event where they are comfortable and safe like a local park, school, neighborhood, gym, treadmill, etc.
How do I participate virtually?
We are asking all participants to take pictures as they participate in the Raven Run! Go to the St. Benedict German Festival Facebook Page for details. Post your images to our social pages and/or tag us! Be sure to check-in and use the hashtag #SBCSVirtualRavenRun on race day!
