Melinda and I are heading back to Addis Jemari (AJ) this summer to continue working with families facing intense struggles with generational poverty. We hope to invest in the lives of the families and staff at AJ in ways that support and foster long-term growth and relationship building. Melinda should have the opportunity to teach some health and wellness principles the parents and young people can use to avoid injury as well as treat basic needs. I get to work with some of the young people teaching photojournalism, helping them develop skills they can employ in their future. We love sharing the needs with family and friends, not because we need financial support, but to bring awareness to the beautiful work happening at AJ. If you would like to contribute to the work, any overage supports orphans and families in their efforts to educate and support themselves.
