From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining our team for this year's Heart Walk. This is our sixth walk, and each year it reminds us just how grateful we are for the love, support, and hope that surrounds our family.

The Heart Walk is so much more than a fundraiser to us. Every dollar raised helps fund lifesaving research in pediatric cardiology—research that gives families like ours hope when they need it most. It paves the way for new discoveries, better treatments, and brighter futures for children born with congenital heart disease.

Nearly six years ago, our family entered a world we never imagined. We became the parents of a heart warrior. There were moments filled with fear and uncertainty, but also incredible strength, resilience, and miracles. Today, we are celebrating nearly six beautiful years with our child—six years of hugs, laughter, milestones, and memories that, just 30 years ago, many families never had the chance to experience.

That is why we walk.

We walk to honor every child who is fighting, every family navigating this journey, and every little life that has left an unforgettable mark on this world. We walk because research changes lives. We walk because hope is powerful. And we walk believing that one day, every child born with a heart defect will have the opportunity to live a long, healthy life.
