Help Us Help Other Families with Hearing Loss

This Family Hears the ROAR of the Lions!

Our family looks forward to the D-Feet Walk every year! It’s a fun day for the entire family. Our team name is “Little Ears Should Hear”.  We have been to every D-Feet Walk since the first one, in 2012. That was the year our daughter, Maren, was diagnosed with moderately severe hearing loss.  In 2013, our son, Drew, was also diagnosed with hearing loss.

We will always remember that very first walk.  It empowered us in so many ways.  We realized we really weren’t alone on this journey.  There are so many amazing people we are meeting along the way that are helping and guiding us.  This walk has helped us feel part of something bigger too.  This walk is a day of celebration!  Our family has seen and experienced what the Lions Hearing Foundation is doing to help make more things possible for children like ours. We’re not only helping to raise money for the Lion’s Hearing Foundation, so that more can be done for children with hearing loss, but we’re also connecting with other families, learning about the latest advances in research and hearing devices, and learning new ways we can help our children be successful.

We are very grateful for what the Lions are doing for children with hearing loss.  We’re happy to say we can hear the ROAR of the Lions!
