My sister, Teresa, was more than a big sister to me.  She was a mentor, a mom, a guide in life, a support, the family organizer, an amazing example of how to be loving mom to her three wonderful kids, I could go on and on.  When she died we all were devasted.  Renee and I want to honor her life by creating a team, hiking and fundraising in her honor and doing the Dipsea Hike for Zero Breast cancer.

ZBC promotes research into the environmental causes of breast cancer and to helping individuals and communities focus on ways to reduce breast cancer risks. Exercise, reducing stress and sleeping enough are all important ways to reduce breast cancer risk.

Your donation will support the launch of a wellness and leadership development program for high school students starting in 2016. Inspiring and engaging the next generation of potential scientists, public health professionals, health educators, doctors, nurses and community advocates is an investment in a zero breast cancer future.
