Grab a Leash for DogFest DFW!

Gather your friends, family and dogs for a day of fun on September 14 at Community Beer Co.

DogFest is the signature event for national nonprofit Canine Companions, and our largest fundraiser of the year. Your participation in this fun-filled event supports the mission of Canine Companions and provides greater independence to people with disabilities through the help of an expertly trained service dog, provided at no cost.  

At DogFest, pet dogs are invited and encouraged to join the fun! This event is dog- and family-friendly, free and open to the public. Fundraising is encouraged and appreciated to support this important cause.

DogFest DFWSchedule:

4:00 p.m. –DogFest DFW kicks off!
5:15 p.m. –Program starts with emcee Brittany Rainey of CBS News Texas, featuring:

  • Dog contests (Best costume, look alike, and most mature)
  • Guest speakers
  • Service dog demo
  • Appearance from Lonestar, our local CBS News Texas puppy!

7:00 p.m.- Event concludes

Throughout the event, enjoy fun activities for you and your dog, photobooth opportunities and the chance to learn more about Canine Companions.
