I am participating in DogFest LA/OC because I know firsthand the difference a service dog can make in one's life. Everyone always told me, "your life will change when you're matched with your partner," but I never knew how much that was true until I met Nico. Nico has opened up a world of opportunity for me- from giving me the confidence to travel and experience the world more, helping me with tasks in my daily life, keeping me company through difficult treatments, and providing me tons of entertainment.
I know the joy dogs bring to our lives each and every day. I also believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Leading up to DogFest LA/OC, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible.
