We are participating in DogFest LA/OC because we know how important service, facility, and therapy dogs are to the community. I am a three-time puppy raiser and working on a therapy dog certification. Our first pup, Connie V, is a facility dog in a kindergarten class with students who have autism. Our second dog, Fanta III, is a Change of Career dog and she is now training for a therapy dog certification. And lastly, our sassy sweet, Sherry III, is our current future service dog.
I also believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Leading up to DogFest LA/OC, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions' mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Help me get to my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them.
