I’m participating in DogFest Southeast because I’ve experienced firsthand the incredible, life-changing impact of a Canine Companions service dog.

Tatiana was my first Canine Companions partner, and she was truly a once-in-a-lifetime gift. She gave me confidence, independence, and a sense of freedom I never thought possible. She wasn’t just my service dog — she was my teammate, my constant companion, and a piece of my heart. Losing her was incredibly difficult, but the impact she left on my life will never be forgotten.

Then came Yani, who has continued Tatiana’s legacy in her own amazing way. Yani brings joy, independence, and unwavering support to my everyday life. She reminds me that the bond between a person and a service dog is something truly extraordinary — built on trust, teamwork, and unconditional love.

Because of Canine Companions, people with disabilities receive expertly trained service dogs at no cost, opening doors and creating possibilities every day. I’m honored to support a mission that has changed my life and continues to change the lives of so many others.
