I'm donating my birthday to bring solar energy to the Jajur Village Clinic!
Project Goal
To equip the medical clinic in Jajur, a village in the Shirak region, with modern medical equipment and essential supplies, improving access to quality healthcare for the local community.
Project Background
Shirak is one of Armenia's poorest regions, where many rural medical clinics lack the modern equipment and supplies needed to provide quality care. As a result, residents often have to travel long distances to larger towns and cities to receive even basic medical services.
Through this project, FAR will equip the Jajur clinic with modern medical equipment and essential supplies, enabling healthcare providers to better diagnose, treat, and care for patients close to home.
By strengthening the clinic's capacity, rural residents will have greater access to timely medical care without the burden of traveling—an especially important benefit during the harsh winter months, when roads can become dangerous or impassable.
Improved access to quality healthcare will support earlier diagnosis of illness, better management of chronic conditions, increased preventive care, and healthier outcomes for the entire community.
