I'm donating my birthday #ForMardigianChildCenter!

I'm donating my birthday to support the staff and children at the Mardigian Child Protection Center in Yerevan.

I have volunteered at Mardigian during my last two visits to Armenia in 2024 and 2026. The children who live here have gone through extremely challenging family situations and find support and community here. The staff provides the following:

• Crisis Intervention: Provides emergency shelter, protection, and stabilization for children facing abuse, abandonment, or severe family breakdown. 
• Support Services: Offers social-psychological counseling, mental health care, and parent art-therapy. 
• Mobile & Outreach Work: Extends mobile support and child-protection services to border and frontline villages. 
• Foster Care & Integration: Acts as a pioneer in Armenia's foster care system and collaborates with organizations like UNHCR to support refugee and displaced children. 
• Academic Partnership: Hosts practical training programs for social work and child protection students in cooperation with Yerevan State University.
