In August 2018, Madison was diagnosed with two brain tumors that turned out to be Germinoma! She completed four rounds of chemotherapy, 20 radiation treatments, several blood and platelet transfusions, and stayed many nights in the hospital! During her chemo treatments, she was diagnosed with appendicitis during one hospital admission and typhlitis during another both landing her in the hospital for a week or more and once in the PICU for a week!
