Hello family and friends! Thank you for visiting Kaden’s Page.  Please come join us at the Fox Cities Down Syndrome awareness walk to celebrate Kaden and others with Down syndrome. Or if you can’t join us that day please consider a donation to Kaden’s team to support an event that is so close to our hearts.  The Fox Cities Down syndrome Association offers resources and funding for families all across the Fox Valley.  They offer therapies, speech and Ot. With their help this summer they sent Kaden to a camp for a week. What a Blessing! 

Kaden turned 6 in April and his heading to 1st grade. Kaden is simply amazing! Full of smiles and hugs. He brings so much joy to us and anyone who is around him. He is a awesome big brother. Just this year Kaden and Karli really started playing together. Which makes my heart full. He loves music and dancing. The A tooty ta song is a daily favorite in our house, maybe 20 times a day! His teacher last year did it in his classroom and he has mastered it. Next time you see him ask him to sing it. It will make your day! He also loves reading books, swimming, going on bike rides, and playing ball. He took swimming lessons this summer and played baseball on the Miracle League of Fox Valley. Kaden enjoyed them both. He is working hard on his speech. Communicating his needs. We are trying to get him to initiate his needs. Getting him to use 2-3 word sentences. A lot of his behaviors come from not being able to communicate. Instead of saying “hi” to his friends (he gets so excited to see them) he sometimes pushes or hits. He is getting so much better at using his words. Just the other day the doorbell rang. Kaden says, “ mommy door, Mark” that my friends deserves a happy dance and lots of high fives! 3 words! Milestones in this house our huge celebration. Kaden is one huge Blessing! 

Come join us on October 6th for a family fun day. We walk with Kaden and others with Down syndrome to help raise awareness and promote inclusion, diversity, and acceptance of Down syndrome. We strive to guarantee access to a full life for all individuals with Down syndrome.
