I hope you'll join me in supporting the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation. Spinal CSF leak is a neurologic condition due to a defect in the tissue surrounding the spinal cord. A leak can cause many debilitating symptoms, in my case they included severe headache and neck pain. The foundation is a patient-led non-profit that seeks to reduce the suffering of those with this disorder, and I'm honored to serve on its board of directors.

I’m thrilled to be participating in duradash® 2026, an annual fundraising event for the foundation, with the goal to raise awareness and funds in support of spinal CSF leak research and education. The virtual duradash challenge aims for a total of 150 minutes of any activity, to be done at any time, anywhere.

I'm excited that our understanding of this under-diagnosed and disabling neurologic disorder is continuing to improve, so that more patients are able to receive correct and timely diagnosis and treatment.
