I’m thrilled to be participating in duradash® 2026, an annual fundraising event for the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation. This year’s virtual fundraiser will run from May 24–June 7, 2026. The duradash® event aims to raise awareness and funds in support of spinal CSF leak research and education, so that more patients living with this under-diagnosed and disabling neurologic disorder are able to receive correct and timely diagnosis and treatment.

As most of you know, I have suffered from the spontaneous form of spinal CSF leak on and off throughout my adulthood. While I currently do not experience symptoms, it has profoundly impacted my life. I spend much of my time and energy now trying to make the state of care much better for patients than it was when I was suffering. This year I am aiming to raise $500 in support of spinal CSF leak research and education. Any donations go towards sponsoring conferences to educate physicians and patients, patient support resources, research (more on that soon!) educational content, the launch of our international patient registry, and more. 

I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts research and funding for this under-diagnosed, debilitating condition.
