Rena Shuman has passion and care for the people in our community. Especially for moms and their babies. Rena works as a Birth and Postpartum Doula and also is a Childbirth Educator. She pours her heart into helping her clients feel confident and educated as they step into a huge milestone of life, which is parenthood. Before Rena became a Doula four years ago, she taught preschool for many years. Helping to shape young minds and spirits was also a blessing to her. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 15 year old twins and all their sports and activities, sharing laughter and great conversation with her friends and family, spending time in nature (peace and quiet) and traveling whenever she can squeeze it into her busy schedule.

Participating in DWTCOS means a lot to Rena as she personally knows well and is close to a former Sparrow and his family. She loves this organization and what it provides for members of our community and clearly has a massive part of her heart devoted to all children. Rena also loves Hip Hop dance and is eager to dust off the old moves and show up for her group and this fundraiser and what it represents.
