Chris is excited to be a part of Dancing with Central Oregon Stars. While Chris says that he’s "technically" not a star, he is the proud Principal of Caldera High School, a position that allows him to work with students and families in Southeast Bend and the Sunriver area. Chris loves the Caldera Wolfpack Family and all the successes that students and staff have made in our first three years as a new school.

When not PrinciPALing, Chris and his wife, Nina, enjoy river adventures and finding new hikes to explore. Chris and Nina have four children. Their older two children are graduates of Bend -La Pine Schools, and their twins are just starting high school. Like all kids, each of their children find different ways to find their happiness, and for Chris, being their dad is the pleasure of his life.

Sparrows, and the Sparrow Clubs organization, have a warm place in Chris’s heart. In the past ten years, Chris has had the honor of leading schools that have supported six amazing Sparrows. On October 19, Chris will lace up his dancing shoes, AKA his Adidas, and dance in their honor.
