Corry Meyer, semi-retired, was a freelance designer and landscaper with 20 years of experience in enhancing the aesthetics of the outdoors, at many homes within our community. She loves working outside with nature; it gives her a sense of peace and tranquility. She is highly challenged and motivated with her creativeness in helping others with their vision. 

Corry spends most of her free time with family and friends; and enjoys hiking, kayaking, pickleball and attending as many classic rock concerts as possible; one day she would like to learn how to play the drums. Her motto is "every day is a great day; some are just better than others.”

Corry was born in The Netherlands, and immigrated with her parents and a brother, to Southern California; where a lot of Dutch citizens immigrated in the early 1960's. She has shared many of the Dutch traditions with her two grown children and continues to carry them on with her grandchildren. She became a US Citizen when she was 35 years old.

She has been a part of a few non-profit organizations, (i.e. Sparrow Clubs some 20 years ago), and is extremely humbled in giving back to those in need, serving in our community and honored to have been asked to participate (even though she has two left feet) in Dancing With The Central Oregon Stars.
