Nichole Fish is the owner and principal designer of Fishhouse Design Studio, a Bend-based interior design firm where she spends her days helping clients create homes they never want to leave. Before becoming a designer, she worked in event planning, grew up around construction projects thanks to her dad's remodeling business, and somehow found a way to turn all of that into a career. When she's not sourcing tile samples or obsessing over paint colors, Nichole can usually be found with a book in her hand, cheering on her daughter Mackenzie at softball games, or singing along to Dolly Parton. She's also a Disney enthusiast, lover of breakfast burritos, and firmly believes that every room—and every life—is better with a little personality. A lifelong dancer, Nichole spent more than 25 years in dance classes before hanging up her dance shoes and focusing on work, family, and building her business. She's excited (and a little nervous) to return to the dance floor for Dancing with the Central Oregon Stars and support Sparrow Clubs's incredible mission of helping kids. Nichole is honored to be part of this year's cast and hopes to prove that muscle memory is real and that her feet still remember at least some of what they learned all those years ago.

Trevor Smith's dance journey began for the same reason so many men start dancing, chasing a girl. The girl is long forgotten, but his passion for dance is not. Years into his dance habit he watched the documentary Alive and Kicking and was illuminated with the knowledge that this was the dance he was missing! He immediately set out to learn this electrifying and intriguing dance. Trevor pursues his craft through traveling to weekend workshops across the region in Seattle, Eugene, and Portland. Trevor currently teaches weekly Lindy Hop classes at The Space dance studio, sharing a love of swing dancing with Central Oregon. Most recently, he performed in the world premiere of Rosie the Riveter, choreographing a spotlight dance with his co-teacher, a highlight of years spent honing the art of Lindy Hop. Outside of dance, Trevor works as a sustainability coordinator for a local production company, reducing the environmental impact of events. He also does audio-visual work for a local conference center. When not on the dance floor, he's likely rock climbing, surfing, fishing, or competing in the Pole, Pedal, Paddle. Future goals include pursuing a PhD in Anthropology and buying a house. This is Trevor's first year participating in Dancing with the Central Oregon Stars, when asked he hopped at the chance to bring some swing dance energy to the stage for a great cause. Trevor can't wait to find out who his Star partner will be and put on a performance that's as fun as it is memorable!
