Monica is a returning Star and is excited to be on the stage for the 5th time, dancing in her third hip hop group competition. Monica performed in 2017 dancing the Argentine Tango taking 2nd place Judge’s Choice, 3rd place People’s Choice and Shining Star Award! Monica has been involved with Sparrow Clubs for 13 years and recently joined the Board of Directors. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Monica moved to the Rogue Valley in 1993. She has spent 36 years in the financial industry and currently is the Regional Manager for Banner Bank, overlooking 17 branches in Oregon/California. This year Monica is dancing for Danielle Conroy, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and who was set to dance this year in DWTRVS. Danielle is the manager at the Eagle Point branch and our Wonder Woman here at Banner Bank. I know next year we will see her on this stage. She is one of the strongest person’s I know, and our Banner family is all here to support her through this fight! Monica has 2 beautiful children, Emily (25) and Jared (21). She met her amazing and supportive –her biggest fan- husband, Timothy, while volunteering with a local non-profit organization. They married in 2013.
