Jordyn Kern is a Jesus-loving, Enneagram enthusiast, psychology obsessed, 33-year-old, mother of two and wife to the best-looking man in town. Jordyn was born and raised in the Rogue Valley, and though she traveled for adventure, knowledge and love to Hawaii, Arizona, and California, she finally learned that Oregon really is beautiful and it’s the people not the place that make a home. Jordyn has spent the last eight years as a stay-at-home parent while simultaneously pursuing her bachelor’s in psychology. A goal she finally realized last year graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her and her husband own JAM Roofing, purchased a few years back from her father who started the 25-year-old company. Jordyn loves to travel with her family, and she also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, boating and camping. Jordyn is about to start a new job teaching Pilates, while her next educational goal is to obtain her master’s degree in counseling. Her faith inspires her to love and serve others and she feels honored to use tools like exercise and psychology to be of service to others. Jordyn first learned about Sparrow Clubs as a student, but she didn’t fully understand the big picture until attending a fundraiser luncheon. At the luncheon she learned just how far reaching the blessings of Sparrow Clubs are, it’s not just families in medical need being blessed, it’s children being empowered to love and serve others, to find purpose outside themselves. She’s been a big supporter ever since.
