I am a Case Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Southwestern Indiana and I LOVE MY JOB! I get the chance to work with some amazing volunteers and littles on a personal level each day! I have seen the quietest of kids become outspoken, kids excelling in their classwork, and developing new passions and hobbies since being matched with their Bigs.
Not only do I get the chance to work with an amazing agency, I am a Big Sister myself. My little Jackie and I have been matched for a little over 3 1/2 years and it has been an awesome experience. My little and I enjoy a lot of the same things together: eating Mexican, getting our nails done, browsing the bookstores, and just sitting and talking about life. I have seen a lot of positive changes throughout our match and cannot wait to continue to see how much more she can accomplish!
