In the spring of 2022, we published our first issue on the theme of environmental justice. In the spring of 2023, we published our second issue on the theme of gender justice. We seek funding for our third issue, which will cover equity and justice in education, and we will use the funding to hire four interns to help us take the Journal to the next level by increasing the number and diversity of published authors.
Your funding will invest in student talent to help them gain professional editorial and publishing experience; specialized skills in marketing, outreach, web design, and project management, and career-ready skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Your funding will illuminate important issues that the Lancaster community is facing and serve to bridge the University and community together to look for potential resolutions to these issues.
We are seeking $6,600 to fund 4 student internship positions for the Fall of 2024 to capture diverse academic and community voices writing on significant public issues.
