I had the privilege of being the wife of Frank Gale and had the greatest ride of my life for the past 30 years. Being with a husband who was always positive and always smiling changes the way you look at the world. While losing Frank has been my greatest devastation, Frank was a once in a lifetime gift that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Going through Frank's cancer journey at UNCCRI inspired both of us. I can't imagine my life without Frank but having the support of the UNCCRI team around me and continuing to watch UNCCRI change cancer patients' lives is life changing.
