Our family has been affected by this. My little brother got to a point in his life where, due to some childhood trauma, he was doing heroin, among other things. He hit rock bottom. Even the paramedics that came out said he'd be dead in about a week.
Then he got help. Again. Clean and sober now for three and a half years. We almost lost him...but thanks be to God we didn't. He is now telling his testimony and trying to talk to and help those caught up in it.
