FriendshipWorks returns for its Eighth Annual Walk to End Elder Isolation! With your help, we can raise awareness of the power of friendship and most importantly, raise critical funds to support FriendshipWorks! Last year, FriendshipWorks was able to support over 1,300 elders through five programs — all offered at no cost to program participants. As you may know, I have been a volunteer for over 20 years and am well invested in their mission. I participate for my friends who I miss dearly; Norma, Evelyn, Mary, and Patricia (photo below). I have so many lovely memories with my time spent with FriendshipWorks and I know you will support me in reaching my goal!! As folks are realizing how difficult social isolation is with the pandemic our elders have unfortunately been dealing with it for many years. Please help us help them in supporting the Walk. Can I count on you again this year a donation? If not, I completely understand in these trying times. With my upcoming retirement in June I will be meeting more wonderful friends to share with you next year. Thanks for your consideration. Stay safe and well, Connie
