Toby the Bagel
Who is Toby Tomas Rosette Davis?
I'm a 3-year-old Beagle (mom calls me bagel) with a heart as loyal as the veteran, which brought me to Arfordable Dog Training. My original owner was a veteran and I was his constant companion. He was a widower and I kept him company, watching over him, and ultimately saving his life by keeping him awake for almost 3 days after a fall. Though my owner never recovered, my story didn’t end there. I found a new home and purpose with Jessica (owner of Arfordable) — my new family continues to honor both his hero’s memory and my unwavering loyalty to him.
Now I'm taking on a new mission — to help other pets and people in need through the San Antonio Humane Society’s 2026 El Rey Fido Campaign. Every dollar raised helps provide medical care, shelter, and love for animals waiting for their second chance — just like I once needed.
Be on the lookout for the MANY planned events to help raise money for the organization that also helped my mom, find her passion. More to come on that later!
Reactive Rover
One of my most important duties is to help socialize with dogs that need a friend. I help teach them how to dog. Sometimes that means sticking my head in their mouth... I get hazard pay.
I have the best vets!
Shout out to my favorite vet and sponsor of the El Rey Fido campaign, VCA Henderson Pass!
Playgroup Rockstar
I can guarantee that I've met about 95% of dogs that have walked into Arfordable Dog Training and am in their report cards. Go back and see!
Let's GOOOOO!
Always the willing and ready copilot on all of mom's crazy adventures!
Chews Chews and More Chews
I love winding down with a relaxing chew after terrorizing everyone at work!
Honoring my Dad
This is Archie Rosette. He's the reason I am where I am and why we want to continue his legacy!
2025 Pup Cups Saves Lives ERF Campaign
Last year we helped raise over $11k for SAHS!
Work Hard, Play Hard
Hiking is one of my favorite pass time as I love to use my nose to sniff out the grossest stuff. Mom hates it but I call it enrichment!
I take my job very seriously!
As the VP of Canine Hospitality, my job is to ensure that every pup that stays with us has a pawsome time!

Biscuit, a handsome 1-year-old Retriever Mix, was brought to us as a stray at the beginning of March. Upon his arrival, our Medical Team examined his health and discovered that he was suffering from Elbow Incongruency, a condition where the bones of the elbow joint don’t align properly. This condition can cause severe pain, affecting their ability to walk and stand properly.
Thanks to the incredible team at our Leeu Naylor Medical Building, Biscuit was able to undergo surgery to correct the issue and begin a carefully managed recovery plan. During his two-month medical stay, he made remarkable progress! Now, his loving forever family is giving him the extra-special care he needs to finish healing—so before long, he’ll be back to running, jumping, and playing like himself again.
Meet the adorable and tenacious Bungee! Bungee, a 5-month-old Terrier mix, was found as a stray and brought in by a kind member of the community. Upon intake, our medical team noticed that both of his front legs were badly injured. This prompted an X-ray, which revealed they were both broken, meaning a long road to recovery for little Bungee.
Bungee underwent surgery at our Leeu Naylor Medical Building, where he received plates and pins in both front limbs to ensure he could have a full range of mobility once healed. Bungee was such a resilient pup throughout his strict recovery, where he had to spend lots of time resting in his kennel with splints and bandages on his legs.
Even throughout his recovery, Bungee’s bright personality never faded. True to his name, this energetic pup loves to bounce around and spread joy wherever he goes. Now healed and thriving, he’s putting his strong legs to good use—filling his new forever home with endless fun and playfulness.
