Why I Run for CHD Research

My son, Adrian, was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot during our anatomy ultrasound. Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is a combination of four congenital heart defects. Research has allowed babies who receive this once fatal diagnosis to have a chance at surgery and living a long and happy life. However, Adrian never got the chance to have any of these surgeries. Due to other congenital defects, Adrian was stillborn on March 28, 2020.

We have found that raising funds for CHD research to help other babies and children is a meaningful way to honor Adrian's memory. We want to help other babies have the chance at a life that Adrian didn't get.
