Nearly two years ago, I moved out to the Bay Area to start a new life. I was not only blessed with an amazing career opportunity, but also blessed with deep love and a beautiful,warm place to live. God has immensely blessed my life in ways I cannot describe. In a community that is so blessed with progress, I see poverty, homeless, and addiction everywhere I go. It breaks my heart. We walk by these people without even acknowledging them and their needs. Needs we all take for granted. Needs for purpose, interaction, love, hope, food, water, and a place to live. We make conclusions about them and ignore them out of our own discomfort. It is hard to imagine what these people must go through every day and every night.

I am fundraising for them because I want them to know that I care about them. I want to show love and hope!On March 25th, I will get the opportunity to engage face-to-face with homeless during San Jose's CityTeam Engage Experience!

While my city is known for its' progressive ideas and technologies shaping the future, I hope that WE can be known for our willingness to sacrifice our time and give back to those who need our help and love, face-to-face! Help me show some love! Help me give back!
