As most of you know, when I first moved to LA I began volunteering with Minds Matter. I spent two years mentoring a student, Daisy, who is now a junior at the University of Chicago as a Questbridge Scholar! She is studying Biochemistry and plans to pursue medical school. Last summer she worked two jobs, one as an RA and another as a researcher in a science lab--I got to visit her in Chicago and hear all about what she is accomplishing! Almost two years ago Minds Matter became my full time job, and I love spending my time supporting our students to accomplish their goals of college and beyond. I would love to have your support!
