I found myself in the most ridiculous predicament: shackled in Darth Vader’s personal interrogation chamber, surrounded by ominous machinery and the smell of burnt circuits. 

“Really? This is how you capture someone?” I muttered, struggling against the restraints. Vader, looming over me with his classic dramatic flair, seemed utterly unamused. Then, a droid clanked in, holding a flimsy datapad that displayed my bail amount: $5000. “Five grand? That’s half a starship!” I exclaimed. Vader just tilted his helmet, probably thinking he was making a grand statement. “The Empire has its costs,” he intoned, like some sort of bureaucratic villain. 

I rolled my eyes, wondering if there was a galactic crowdfunding site I could tap into. As Vader turned away, probably to contemplate his next evil plan, I started brainstorming ways to raise bail. My bail amount of $5,000 will directly help Hands4Hope-Youth Making A Difference whose mission statement is to inspire and empower youth in leadership and service. The youth are given a platform to use their voice surrounding issues affecting our community and the opportunity to take action in their own way. Can you please spare some change? Because it’s really for the kids!
