After a perinatal stroke and seizures at infancy, Cale remained seizure free until the age of 9, when he collapsed and seized in a parking lot. Since that time, he has had periods of seizure freedom and seizure activity, as well as many medication and dosage changes. Cale has proven his resiliency and courage many times over and has grown his self advocacy skills as he's aged into a 15 year old young man. I am proud to be his mom, to watch him grow, and to walk in his honor.
