Meredith Mariol and Beverly Keim are two of the many dedicated professionals with the non-profit Vermont Adult Learning, an amazing organization that provides adults of all ages, including youth from 16 years and older, with the skills and education to successfully move into employment and to post-secondary education. All of the services offered at VT Adult Learning are free! This team is excited about Going Over the Edge, and they love the Flynn. As everyone at Vermont Adult Learning knows: new challenges take courage!

The Flynn is a wonderful community partner for Vermont Adult Learning, and we are excited to go Over the Edge for the Flynn and rappel down the side of the Courtyard Marriott on Saturday, August 31. We would be grateful if you would help us to support the education programs at the Flynn by making a donation to our fundraising pages.

The really great part about this event is that  it directly supports the Flynn’s programs that welcome the entire community to enjoy and participate in the arts! So many of us have enjoyed an incredible show at the Flynn but many of us are unaware of what incredible work goes on with the Student Matinee Series, FlynnArts classes and the Flynn Youth Theater Company. Over 1/3 of the Flynn’s annual $7.5 million budget goes to education! And, of course, at Vermont Adult Learning that is very close to our hearts.

We feel that this opportunity to rappel in support of the Flynn not only helps us raise some well-deserved financial support for the education programs that benefit the community, it also helps us spread awareness that the Flynn, like Vermont Adult Learning, is a non-profit and relies on community support.
