MY WHY
In October 2026, I will race Ironman 70.3 North Carolina.
But this race is not about Medals.
My mother went through a bone marrow transplant — a battle that demanded resilience far beyond anything athletics can replicate. Watching her fight changed me. It taught me that true strength is quiet, disciplined, and built long before it is tested.
There's a saying I live by: "You don’t rise to the occasion. You fall to the level of your training".
While I am training by choice, families facing blood cancer do not choose their fight. That's why I committed to raising $15,000 for the Icla da Silva Foundation - to help patients access life-saving bone marrow transplants and receive critical support when they need the most.
If my miles can help someone else reach tomorrow, every step matters.
