Hi guys! I’m super excited to participate in SDT’s Fashion For A Cure as a volunteer model from Phi Sig! Fashion for a Cure is an annual program held to raise money for Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting young Jewish women and their families facing breast and ovarian cancer. Fashion for a Cure also helps raise awareness concerning breast cancer and offers education tools to the Binghamton University community. Any donations would be really appreciated!
Who Am I & Why I’m Doing This!
I'm currently a junior in Binghamton University - majoring in Biology and Philosophy. I'm on the pre-med track and also a part of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority! Apart from wanting to be active in the greek life community and engaging in sisterhood through volunteering, the topic of breast and ovarian cancer is something I deeply care about. I spent most of my high school years researching ovarian cancer and shadowing doctors who worked with breast cancer patients. Through this I have developed an empathy, having seen how lives are impacted first hand. I choose to participate in this event in order to help all those people that I have witnessed and continue to witness fight this battle.
