Be a Hunger Hero!

You can raise funds to help feed more neighbors in need! Every participant gets their own Fundraising Page when they register, which means you can spread the word and encourage your friends to join our mission and help solve hunger in Northern Illinois.

PLUS, if you raise $200 or more, you'll receive some nifty Food Bank swag to celebrate your efforts to fight hunger! This year, all Hunger Heroes will receive a limited-edition hat and a multi-pocket fanny pack to show off your Food Bank spirit.

Remember, every $1 raised can help provide $8 worth of groceries!

Individual Challenges

Fundraising Challenge: Fitbit Ionic
Tuesday, March 30 - Tuesday, April 6

How It Works:

Any participant who receives at least 1 donation to their Personal Fundraising Page from Tuesday, March 30 - Tuesday, April 6 will be entered to win the Fitbit Ionic GPS Smart Watch.
Winner (1) will be randomly selected and announced on Wednesday, April 7.

Team Challenges

Exclusive team awards will be given for the following categories:

Fundraising Fighters: top fundraising team
Feet-on-the-Ground Fighters: largest team
Fighters Who Have Fun: most creative (team name, photos, social media)

The top team in each category will be invited to a Virtual Cooking Demo with the Food Bank's own Chef Jennifer Lamplough and will be featured in a post-race thank you post on social media.
